In 2022, the company promotes the Social Investment Management line, in order to develop projects to create shared value. The initial program that the company is developing is a Cacao Traceability Program and the construction of a geographic information system that aims to collect the geographic coordinates (or geolocation coordinates, latitude and longitude) of all the plots in which produced the raw material.
Deforestation is a consequence of problems in the organization of countries for the proper use of natural resources, this in turn leads to social and economic consequences for some communities that subsist thanks to agricultural activity. To do this, we work as a team with organized communities and thus promote sustainable economic development, the idea is through the establishment of agreements with prestigious institutions such as national universities, to be able to create tools that allow us to characterize spaces where the organization has influence, organize information, propose growth alternatives promoting the good use of resources, and replicate experiences throughout the territory.
Since, for Farfix Trading, it is imperative to promote the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the marketing on the Union market and the export from the Union of certain raw materials. and products associated with deforestation and forest degradation and which repeals Regulation (EU) No 995/2010. “By complying with the verification of the traceability of our cacao , we improve the livelihoods and agricultural practices of producers of cacao. Among them is Xocolatl Trading, our ally par excellence to promote our ambitious plan to export Venezuelan cacao 100% free of deforestation and satisfying the needs of customers”.
